Oil on Canvas
Oil paint consists of pigmented solids suspended in a carrier oil, and is applied to a canvas. Some unique features of my oil paintings include building and layering of botanical elements, raised/textured details, and wooden canvases.
Watercolor on Paper
Watercolor paintings are created using dry paints and utilizing water as the medium to apply on paper. Some features of my watercolors include unique blending and bleeding of colors, pen outlines, and highlights with heated metallic foil.

I am currently accepting commission pieces for both watercolor and oil paintings! Want something unique but unsure of what that will look like? No worries, lets talk!
About the Artist
My love and appreciation for nature and biology pours from my paintings through the wild scenery and especially the flowers. When I paint these familiar botanicals and scenes I learn about myself in a way, because I let go of my conscious self when I pick up the brush. I pick colors as I go, and I use leaf/petal shapes based merely on what feels right in that moment. I let the bristles dance across the page, with the only boundaries being the edges of the paper. Here I can trust my own judgment, I can tune out the rest of the world, and I can even make mistakes! When I decide the piece is complete and step back, I find fragments of myself staring back at me.
